This Flower is for You
(2022)"This Flower is for You" consists of 10 close-up photos of botanical signs shot on 35mm film. It includes photographed postcards created in close relation to these photos. The project seeks to raise questions about human standards of beauty and science.
The series was first exhibited at Gallery Macken in Malmö. As part of the exhibition, postcards were created based on the signs from the photos. Each postcard had a prewritten text on the back, ending with the message: "This Flower is for You." Visitors were encouraged to write an address, and by the end of the exhibition, all the postcards were sent to their recipients. Before being sent, the postcards were photographed.
